The first post, in which I introduce myself and the new blog.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Here is my new blog, all moved over from LJ. Pardon the dust. I’ll have the furniture moved in soon, though I think the movers lost my sofa…

If we haven’t been introduced, I’m Christine Norris, author, librarian, and overall nutter. This year has kind of been a whirlwind for me, in both of my professional circles, and so I thought that perhaps it was time for a fresh start as far as blogging. I want to try and keep this blog geared toward writing, but we’ll see how that goes.

I thought that Thanksgiving was a good time to make a new start, since, as I said, I have so much to be thankful for this year. Not that things weren’t good before, but this year I got a full-time teaching job, which allows me to do so many more things for myself and my family. I also got an AGENT, which I have been working for almost 10 years to do.  Terrie Wolf at AKA Literary took pity on me signed me in October. We’re getting ready to submit in January, which means I have a lot of great stuff to look forward to in the New Year!

So welcome!

I’ll try not to be boring.

  • Correction. I did not take pity, I love your work I’m thrilled to have you as a client and look forward to your every publishing success. In the words of Dr. Seuss, “Kid, you’ll move mountains!”
